At धी Brain NeuroPsychiatry Centre, our Day Care Support program offers a structured, short-term therapeutic environment for individuals requiring close psychiatric supervision without the need for full hospitalization. Designed and overseen by Prof. Dr. Krishna Patel, an internationally trained NeuroPsychiatrist with over 20 years of experience, this program bridges the gap between outpatient treatment and inpatient care.
Day Care Support is ideal for individuals who may be struggling with acute psychiatric symptoms but do not require overnight admission. It provides an intensive level of care during the day, allowing patients to return home in the evening. This approach is especially beneficial for those with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, or recovering from an acute mental health episode.
Our program includes:
Structured daily schedules with supervised medical and psychological care
Monitoring of medication response and side effects
Crisis stabilization and emotional support
Brief psychotherapy sessions, behavioral therapy, or stress management modules
Skill-building activities focused on coping strategies and daily functioning
Family involvement and psychoeducation
Regular reviews by Dr. Krishna Patel to assess progress and treatment adjustment
The goal of our Day Care Support is to create a safe, therapeutic space where patients can receive intensive, consistent support without being removed from their family or home environment. It helps prevent relapse, reduce hospital admissions, and fast-track recovery in a respectful and comfortable setting.
Patients are admitted to the Day Care program after an initial clinical assessment. The care plan is customized based on individual needs, condition severity, and recovery goals. This flexible model can span from a few days to a few weeks depending on the patient’s response and stability.
Our centre maintains the highest standards of care, combining evidence-based interventions, empathetic clinical supervision, and a healing atmosphere. We also integrate traditional insights when relevant, respecting each patient’s personal and cultural background.
